This is family business with various members being drafted in and called upon as different skills and expertise are required. Gavin is exceptionally patient and spectacularly good a producing a cuppa just when it is needed!
Even the pets get involved: George for inspirational detours from the production centre, Missy for catnip quality control and the Chickadees provide the raw materials for brekkie.

About Land Cuckoo
Land Cuckoo was named from an off the cuff comment by a good friend who was listening very patiently to me describing how we were going to live completely self sufficiently in an earthshelter with sheep grazing on the roof.
As he said ‘Sarah, when you come back from Land Cuckoo……..’ it was then I decided that I did not want to!
Land Cuckoo is a good place to be and from that point on our home and lifestyle became known as Land Cuckoo, so it seemed only natural for the business to be named the same.
