Last Weekend

Busy but great weekend in Peterborough and Wimpole

Last weekend saw Land Cuckoo in double! On Saturday I took myself up to Peterborough to the Made By Artisans Christmas Fair which was held in the lovely Becket Chapel in the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral.

It was a wonderful day with a steady stream of customers coming in out of the cold and damp to investigate the great selection of handmde gifts on offer. These photos were taken by Pink Milk Photography, do visit the website for more pictures of the day and portfolio of Amanda's work.

At the other end of the county the other half of Land Cuckoo was at Wimpole Hall for their annual Christmas Craft Fair. It was also a great weekend and the weather didn't deter folk from coming out for their gift shopping.

Overnight our stand was raided - by the Wimpole cat! He found the catnip cushions, even though they were sealed in a plastic tub, that is testament to how good the catnip is isn't it! See the pictures over on our blog.


We were also awarded the prize for the best dressed stand by the staff at Wimpole Hall, which we were assured had nothing to to do with the feline endorsement!
